United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: What's Next?
UNACTO Journal: See photos of the event
UN Day, officially marked on 24 October every year, celebrates the anniversary of the founding of the United Nations in 1945. It is a time to reflect on past achievements and resolve to move forward towards ensuring human rights, peace and security, and sustainable development is a reality.
We will be honouring local members of the community for their work towards accomplishing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We are also pleased to host Annie Demirjian, the Director of Glendon School of Public & International Affairs at York University, as our guest speaker.
If you want to find out what's next for the UN, come and mark the day with us.
