UNA-Canada is now accepting applications for its Active Citizens Social Enterprise (ACSE).
In 2016/2017, UNA-Canada and the British Council Canada launched the Active Citizens Social Enterprise (ACSE) in communities across the country. The programme trained over 170 young leaders in how to use the ACSE framework to address the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs) in their communities. ACSE is a social leadership programme designed to help young people develop the soft skills required to better understand and address the needs of their communities through social enterprise. Interactive and participatory, ACSE training encourages participants to take responsibility for their communities' needs and gives them the knowledge, skills and experience to address them.
To apply, you must be aged 18 to 35 and living in Canada.
Ideal candidates value fairness and social justice and have a strong sense of local culture and identity. They have excellent communication skills and are interested in exploring social entrepreneurship as a means of addressing a need in their community. Does this sound like you? Whether you’re a seasoned social entrepreneur or a newcomer to the field in search of new tools to address a social or environmental issue, we welcome your application!
DEADLINE FOR TORONTO APPLICANTS TO APPLY IS 9 OCTOBER 2017.
